If we want to create anything amazing if we want to make an impact in this world if we want to serve who we are called to serve. And if we want to make that impact that we’re craving to make, We have to get over this number one thing that holds us back, and that is the fear of being judged. Now, you may have a number one fear that holds you back. But I’m pretty sure the number one fear that holds most of us entrepreneurs back whether we are creating our own online business, we’re creating our own personal brand in a network marketing company, no matter what it is. We have that fear of being judged.

What will people think of us, our core, this is something we always try to avoid, even subconsciously, the judgments, the opinions, the criticism, and the negativity of others. And I don’t have to tell you that becoming a personal brand and an online influencer an expert in your specific niche in your market. And your online business is one of the easiest and quickest ways that you can build a business.

But it’s also one of the hardest because you have to put yourself out there. You have to put yourself out there to the world. We have to be vulnerable. We have to be raw, we have to show up as who we are all of our imperfections. Everything. When we show up courageous even though we’re full of that fear of being judged when we show up courageously.

We are showing our ideal client, the person we are meant to serve, that you can do this to, you can show up as you. But it’s one of the hardest things to put yourself out there to be exposed to the haters, the criticizers, the rude comments that you get on social media, the judgments, and we know as Christianpreneurs that our identity is in Christ, and we have an amazing identity in Christ. So we wrestle with that. But it still doesn’t make it any easier knowing who we are in Christ, when we have that fear of judgment, and we have those people online, that are criticizing us or judging us.

I am going to give you two action items that you can start to have a mind shift about to get over that fear of being judged. And whether we realize this or not, this does become a massive driver of fear in the background, in our subconscious. It holds us back from being who we really are. It holds us back from showing up on social media and showing up for our tribe. It holds us back from saying what we want to say. And you have a message that the world needs to hear. And it needs to be said.

So we need to get over this fear of being judged. And that is what we’re going to do today, I want you to take a look at how this fear of being judged is holding you back in your business, whether it’s a network marketing business, whether it’s an online business that you’ve created, how is this fear of being judged, holding you back? So I want you to take a second and think about that, how are you not showing up because of this fear?

Are you not putting stuff out there because you’re afraid of being judged? afraid of being not liked, or afraid of rocking the boat? If you are no judgment, I’ve definitely been there. And I still get in that feeling of, oh, I don’t know if I should say that or do that. But this fear of being judged not only holds us back, but it makes you play small. And we are here to play small.

God didn’t put us here to play small, we are here to make an impact in this world for his kingdom. How do we change and flip the script and change the mindset about the fear of being judged? Number one, when you are concerned or focused on what others might think of you, you aren’t concerned about who you are here to help.

When you’re concerned about what other people are going to think about you the comments that they made, or they may make you are focused on you, you were focused inward, you’re not focused outward, and the person you are called to serve. And honestly, that’s being selfish. So think of it like that, when we hold ourselves back, and we’re worried about what others might think we’re focusing our attention on us, we’re not focusing our attention on the person who needs to hear what you have.

We’re not focused on the person that needs to hear the message that you have to give them. We’re not focused on the person that needs that product or service that you have when we’re more concerned and focused on what other people are going to think. So you need to shift your perspective and your attention to a place of service.

This isn’t about you. It’s about serving, helping and making an impact for those people you are called to serve. And the quicker that you can change and shift this mindset and focus on the person that you’re called to serve, the quicker you will stop letting that fear of judgment control you.

The second mindset shift you need to have take place is knowing that judgment is unavoidable. People are always going to judge, okay. They’re going to judge you for not taking an action. They’re going to judge you for not doing something they’re going to judge you for doing something. It’s going to happen whether or not you like it, and you have no control over it. So stop focusing and worrying about something you have absolutely no control over.

Someone’s judgment of you of what you said of how you showed up is something you have no control over. And those people who are criticizing you that are making judgments that are being negative or criticizing you they are making judgments over their own circumstances, over their own life experiences and their own stories.

No one’s judgment means anything about you. detach yourself from whatever they’re saying whatever they’re doing and do not attach a meaning to it. They’re going to judge you no matter what, because of their own circumstances, stories and experiences. So stop putting weight in validating their opinions of you.

Everyone has critics, I bet you can think of some top entrepreneurs that you just absolutely love to follow on social media. They have critics too. But the number one thing that they did is they made a choice, we have those choices to come from a place of service, and do what you love, and love what you do. Let me repeat that, again.

One, come from a place of service, to do what you love, and love what you do. And people can judge you for that. Because clearly, they are not doing what they love. So to reiterate, the two things you can do to change your mindset and get out of that fear of being judged, is one, focus on who you are called to serve.

Don’t focus inwardly on yourself, and don’t focus outwardly, to the haters. The critics focus on who you are called to serve, because you have a message that they need to hear and to you’re going to be judged whether you do something or you don’t do something, other people’s opinions of you, doesn’t matter. So come from a place of service, and do what you love and love what you do. And people can judge you for that.
