Hello You amazing woman of God. How are you today? Today, We are going to talk about confidence and changing your identity to live on purpose. Do you struggle with self confidence or have insecurities that were developed over time or from past events in your life and no judgment here, We all do. We all struggle with insecurities, our self-worth and our confidence.

The problem is if we don’t overcome our insecurities, know our self worth. And identity in Christ and also increase our confidence in how we see ourselves. We won’t be successful and accomplish what we want to, and we won’t step into who God created us to be. I believe most people fail to grow and reach their full potential and step into their God.

Given destiny is the lack of confidence and not believing in themselves. They don’t see the possibilities and gifts God put in them. And this puts a ceiling on our potential, our self competence or what we believe our self worth is equals our identity. And our identity is how we see ourselves. You can never succeed in life beyond your identity or how you see yourself.

And that is important. Let me repeat that you will never succeed in life or goal in life beyond your identity, how you see yourself and Zig Ziglar said it is impossible to consistently behave in a manner that is inconsistent with how we see ourselves. If you don’t think very highly of yourself, how can you ever become the best version of you?

If you don’t think you can achieve your goals, how are you ever going to achieve them? And if you don’t think you’re successful, how are you ever going to be successful? A lot of us operate from have, do be, I need to. Have something in order to be able to do something in order to become something. For example, once I get the sale or once I get that customer, then I’ll be able to make more money and be successful.

Or once I have a ton of money, I’ll be able to donate to that charity. I want to donate to and be more of a blessing that have, do be model doesn’t work. You have to be the person you want to be now. So if you’re at point a in life and you want to get to point Z in life, you have to already act and feel and be at point Z, you have to act, feel and be how that person and point Z would be acting, feeling and being.

In order for you to get from a to Z. So I hope that makes sense. And now that I’m thinking about this, I probably will do a whole episode on be, do have, because it is so important. If you want to be a successful, abundant Christianpreneur making impact and income, you need to step into that role now. You can’t wait until you have the confidence.

You have to be, see that person now and show up with the qualities of a successful entrepreneur now. And what qualities are those? Well. Confidence, integrity, belief, perseverance. We could go on and on. Right? You have to believe in yourself. And that comes down to having confidence. Now I’m sure you can agree with me that we weren’t born with all the confidence in the world.

Right? Confidence grows inside of us. Each time we take action doing something. This is one way. We build their confidence and change our identity, how we see ourselves by taking action. The more you do something, the more confidence you get, right? So let’s take learning to ride a bike. For example, do you remember trying to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels, or maybe teaching your child to ride a bike without training wheels?

We have all the confidence in the world, right. When those training wheels are on. But once they were taken off, that’s when the fear starts to creep in. Right. And do you remember the lack of confidence you had or your child had? The first time they hopped on the bike without the training wheels, they might go a pedal or two, but then fall and then scared.

But with just a tad little bit more confidence, you would have them hop back on the bike or you hopped back on the bike and you took more action and each time you would fall and you would have your child take more action and get back on the bike. And each time they did that, they gained a little bit more and more confidence.

They went a little bit further and further, and eventually they could ride that bike perfectly without training wheels. And boy, Oh boy, how confident did they feel then? Right. Well, that confidence came from taking action and taking action each time they failed and not quitting. So you are going to gain more and more confidence.

Each time you take action towards something you want to achieve an example for me, it would be going live on Facebook. I wasn’t confident with that at all, but each time I took action and I did it, I gained more confidence. I am not where I want to be with my confidence level yet, but I know that I have to be that successful Abundant Christianpreneur now, and each time I took action.

The more confidence I got take action. And remember failure, mistakes. They’re just stepping stones to success. You can’t have success without mistakes and failure. So reframe your mind and what failure and mistakes mean. They’re just the stepping stones to success. So pick yourself back up and take more action.

The second way to gain more confidence and change your identity. The way you see yourself is by keeping. Your promises to yourself. This is also called integrity. Another quality of the abundant Christianpreneur and integrity to others, but more importantly, integrity to yourself. Keep your word to yourself.

This is huge. We tend to keep our word to others, right? Normally, if we say we’re going to do something, we do, we live and work with honesty and integrity. And if we know we’re going to be out of integrity, or if something comes up and we can’t keep our word to others, we usually let them know right away.

But how many times do you find yourself breaking your word to yourself? How many times do you fall out of integrity to yourself? It’s way too easy to break promises with ourselves after all. No one really knows that we broke the promise except for ourselves. Right? Well, stop the very foundation of your confidence comes from the promises.

You keep to yourself. If you tell yourself, you’re going to spend 15 minutes in the morning doing devotions before work, and then you just do it maybe a day here and there, but you’ve told yourself you’re going to do it every day. And then you quit. Or if you say, you’re going to go to the gym today because it’s your day off, but then you never go.

You are out of integrity to yourself. And how many times have you set a new year’s resolution or a goal, but then never followed through. You need to have the habit of keeping promises to yourself and be in integrity to yourself in order to trust yourself in order to gain the confidence in yourself and have that belief that you can achieve the goals you set, because you keep your word.

If you have a habit of telling yourself you’re going to do something and don’t, you are actually training your subconscious to have a lack of belief in you. If you do not have that unwavering belief, that certainty that you will be able to achieve that goal, you set or lose the weight you want to lose or earn that extra income, or be that abundant Christianpreneur

You want it to be, then you won’t. And when you look back and realize you didn’t reach your goal or reach where you wanted to be in life, where is your confidence level going to be zilch zero, right. Self confidence and living a life of purpose comes from you, keeping your word to yourself. It creates trust and belief in you, which changes your identity the way you see yourself.

The most powerful force in the human spirit is to live congruently with the ideas and beliefs we hold true about ourselves. We need to make sure that our beliefs are beliefs that empower us. If we believe we can. We can, if we believe we can’t, we won’t. If we believe we’re a failure, because someone said that we were a failure in our past while.

You aren’t going to be very successful at things, right? If that’s the belief you have about yourself, so that self image, your belief creates your identity. What are some other ways we can change? Our identity, increase our confidence. Well through association, get around other people who are currently where you want to be in life.

Get around other people who are already successful and doing what you want to do, hire a mentor or a coach who is where you want to be. I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but you are the average of the five people you hang out with. So think about that. Who are the five people you spend most of your time with?

For example, when you’re around positive faith-filled people, you just can’t help be in positive, right? If you desire to be wealthy and make an impact, and all of your friends are broke and struggling and content living a mediocre life, where do you think you are going to be in that same boat? But I know the abundant Christianpreneur that faith-filled nine to five Christian career woman that is listening to me.

Want some more out of life. You want to make an impact. You want to make income and you want to do something that feeds your soul. And I truly believe that each and every one of you has a powerful, profitable and impactful business inside of you where you can do just that. So you can leave your nine to five that is draining you.

So get around people who are, where you want to be. Lastly, but most important of them all see yourself, how God sees you. So what does God say about you? Philippians 4:13. I can do all things in him who strengthens me. Yes. Psalm 46:5. God is within her. She will fail. Oh my goodness. That one is on my mirror.

I rehearsed that every day. God, isn’t it is within me. I will not fail. I can be scared. I can be shaking in my boots, but I know God’s in me and I will not fail. I will succeed. There will be stepping stones of failure and success, but I know that I’m going to the finish line because God is within me, Proverbs 31:25.

She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. Psalms the Lord is my strength and my shield. First Peter two nine, but you are a chosen race, a Royal priesthood, a Holy nation, a people for his own possession. Yes. You have Royal blood flowing through your veins. My friend.

So walk in that, rejoice in that and find your strength in that. So let’s quick recap on the ways to build confidence and change your identity, the way you see yourself. One, see yourself, how God sees you. Go write affirmations from those verses. Grab your Bible. When you get home and write affirmations out on who he says you are the second way.

Take action. All of the thinking is great. And the knowing and knowledge is great. But if you want to win, if you want to reach your goals, if you want to learn something new and gain that confidence, you need to take action no matter, or what the result is. If you are willing to take action and accept the pain and the knowledge and the learning of failure, as well as the reward, you will gain confidence.

Three by keeping the promises you make to yourself, self confidence and live in a life of purpose comes from you, keeping your word to yourself. It creates trust. I believe in you. And then lastly through association, get around other confident faith, filled, positive people who are where you are to be, and then keep leveling up and learning.
